ANDREA NATALE
1970, SUPREME COURT LAWYER AND PROFESSOR OF CIVIL LAW, PARTNER
I am Professor of Civil Law at the University of Parma, where I teach a course, in addition to that on Civil Liability, on Internet Law and Artificial Intelligence. Graduated from the University of Milan (1994), I have been a lawyer since 1998, subsequently qualified in the Superior Jurisdictions.
I obtained a PhD in Private Law from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (2003), as well as a National Scientific Qualification, in Private Law, and for the position of Professor (2013).
I deal mainly with contracts: in addition to typical contracts, I have gained significant experience in the areas of financial intermediation (factoring, and in general the circulation of credit), as well as insolvency procedures, working for leading credit institutions.
I have held, and still hold, the role of Director without delegated powers in companies and financial intermediaries. I have been appointed as arbitrator in several arbitrations, including those entrusted to the administration of the Milan Chamber of Arbitration. Before devoting myself to my professional activity, I worked for an investment bank in Luxembourg (1995).
I am the author of more than one hundred publications on contract law, obligations and mortis causa successions, including the following monographs: Autonomia privata e diritto ereditario, Padua, 2009; Il debitore ceduto, Padua, 2012; La circolazione del credito nelle procedure concorsuali, Milan, 2018. I am also editor of Le vicende traslative del credito, Milan, 2020.
I am a full member of the Società Italiana degli Studiosi del Diritto Civile (SISDiC), and an associate of the Associazione Civilisti Italiani, as well as a member of the national scientific committee of the journal Diritto delle Successioni e della Famiglia.
MARCO POLA

I graduated in Law at the University of Milan; admitted to the bar in 1998.
From 2000, I collaborate with NPA law firm and became founder partner in 2002.
I have gained considerable experience in labour legislation with respect to contract and the judicial and extra-judicial disputes.
Moreover, I have a strong expertise in intellectual property law (trademarks, patents and copyrights) achieving a master’s (2006).
In the field of family law (separation and divorce), and in particular in the legal assistance to unmarried couples, I am co-author and co-ordinator of the web site www.separatamente.it (2014).
MAURO MERCADANTE

I graduated in law – business address – at the University of Studies of Milan with a degree on the differences between Trust and Agency in the system of common law. I became attorney before the Court of Appeal of Milan.
In the last twenty years, I have acquired and consolidated extensive experience in the field of civil law and insurance law also becoming trustee of a leading insurance company.
Beyond that, I have always been involved in family law studying in deep, with periodic and constant professional courses, the difficult related issues.
I spend much time in the study of subjects I deal mainly. I participate in conferences and round tables. this role I took part in the organization of conferences, and meetings relating to European themes.
For several years I have also held positions of responsibility within cultural a ssociations in Milan. I am authorized to practice before the Higher Jurisdictions by being registered before the Cassation Register.
LAURA NATALE

Education: I graduated with full marks at the “Università Statale” in Milan (1993) with discussion in Civil Law (factoring) and obtained the qualification degree for the legal profession at the “Appeal Court” in Milan (1996).
Work Experience: During the first years of my profession, I had a predominant experience mainly in the field of bank law, commercial and business law, bankruptcy and atypical agreements (in particular factoring, leasing and franchising). I wrote numerous publications in corporate law.
After a significant experience as legal counsel in the field of telecommunications (cinema and television productions), I had the occasion to continue in dealing with problems related to author’s rights and IP law (IP Master, 2006), managing with web and e-commerce (software and platform) and contracts related to the specific field (licensing, distribution, co-marketing, partnership etc.).
PIERFRANCESCO MARONE

Graduated with full marks at the University of Milan in 1993 with discussion in Civil Law, I am a lawyer since 1996 and admitted before the Corte di Cassazione since 2011.
Owner of a law firm in Milan founded in 2000, before joining NPA I gained a long experience in the field of litigation, both in court and in arbitrations. I provide legal advice and assistance in all types of disputes, with specific skills in the areas of banking law and financial services, real estate and corporate law.
In the field of banking law, I have gained a long experience in advising one of the leading Italian credit institutions both in litigation, for medium-term loans, compound interest, usury and litigation in bankruptcy proceedings, and in debt collection.
For a leading retail operator, I have provided legal advice and assistance, in and out of court, on the management of the real estate portfolio as well as drafting and negotiating contracts and all types of commercial agreements.
I held the role of Member of the Supervisory Body for the application of the Code of Ethics and Conduct of leading companies.
I am Senior Advisor for the Supply Chain Finance Observatory of the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano.
I hold the role of President of the Supervisory Body for the application of the Code of Ethics of S.S.D. Amatori Union Rugby Milano.
MICHELE PRATI

I graduated in Law at the University of Parma and I was admitted to Bar Association in 1998. I built up a significant professional experience and gained a specific competence in the following legal areas: commercial law, corporate law and M&A transactions. I provide legal assistance to medium companies and to both Italian and foreign multinational companies on corporate issues and, within the scope of extraordinary corporate transactions, I provide advice and assistance in relation to mergers, demergers, acquisitions and disposals of equity interests and businesses, incorporation of joint ventures and temporary corporate syndicates.
I provide also legal assistance in the negotiation and drafting of business agreements.

Paolo Bonizzoni

I graduated at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan (2004) and obtained the qualification degree for the legal profession at the Court of Appeal in Milan (2009). I work for NPA since 2011.
I have gained significant professional experience in the field of civil litigation (both ordinary and preventive), in the field of tort liability, medical malpractice and civil law. I have gained particular experience in credit management (non performing loans) and in the banking and financial sector.
Susanna Capria

Giuliana Migliorati

I graduated in law at the Genova University and I obtained the title of lawyer at the Court of Appeal of Torino (2008). I work with the law firm NPA & Associates as of counsel.
I have reached significant professional experiences in the field of civil, contractual and commercial law in out-of-court matters with particular focus on the issues of digital law and privacy.
I also consolidated my skills in the field of protection of personal rights – through the achievement of a master’s degree in privacy law (Master in DPO and Privacy Consultant, latest certification with TUV Italia Group, 2019), working as legal advisor for major companies and banking groups. I have been and I am DPO for corporate clients.
I also obtained the title of internal auditor in information security management systems – ISO/IEC 27001:13 – (2021 auditor certificate).

Nicola Pascale

I graduated at the University of Salerno, with a degree in Bankruptcy Law (2010), obtaining the qualification to practice law before the Court of Appeal of Milan (2013). I collaborate with Studio NPA since 2012.
I provide legal assistance in contractual matters to companies and individuals (contracts, banking and financial, non-performing loans). I work in civil litigation mostly in the commercial field, bankruptcy and banking.
Over the years, I have gained significant experience in credit management (movable and immovable execution), and in labour law. I also developed a high degree of competence in the management of extra-judicial phase of matters (negotiation and mediation).
Pietro Piccoli

I graduated with honors at the University of Milan, with a degree in International Law.
My professional experience includes both judicial and extrajudicial activities, including at international level. In Court, I assist Italian and foreign companies in relation to corporate law, insolvency, insurance and intellectual property. I have a significant practice in finance litigation and factoring. Salvatore Sapio
