1970, Supreme Court Lawyer and Professor of Civil Law, Partner.
Graduated at the University of Milan (1994), I am a Lawyer since 1998, and then I was admitted before the Higher Courts. I was research fellow in Private Law at the University of Parma (2000-2008) and I obtained my PhD in Private Law at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (2003). I obtained the National Scientific Enablement, in private law, and for the functions of Professor (2013).
Currently, I am teaching the matter of typical and atypical contracts (Civil Law) in the Department of Law of the University of Parma. Previously, I was Professor in private law at the Department of Law of University Bocconi; at the postgraduate School for Legal Professions at the University of Parma and at Scuola Superiore dell’Economia e della Finanza.
I deal mainly with contract law. In addition to typical contracts, I have gained significant experience in the financial intermediation sector (factoring and generally in credit management) and in the insolvency proceedings, offering my services in favour of leading banks.
I cover the role of Director without proxies in companies and financial intermediaries. I was arbitrator in several arbitrations, even with the administration of the Chamber of Arbitration of Milan. Before turning to the professional activity, I worked for an investment bank in Luxembourg (1995).
I am author of over one hundred publications on contract law, debt securities, and succession. Among these, I underline, in recent years, the monographs: Autonomia privata e diritto ereditario, Padova, 2009; Il debitore ceduto, Padova, 2012.
